Wilton Dial-A-Ride Seeks State Grant
The program needs to replace a van that is at least 10 years old.
The Wilton Parks and Recreation Department received permission to reapply for a state grant for its Dial-A-Ride program, the Wilton Bulletin reports.
According to the Bulletin, at a meeting on March 17, the finance board inquired about a $60,000 purchase in the department’s program, which is for replacing a Dial-A-Ride van that’s at least 10 years old
The program provides transportation for senior citizens and disabled individuals.
