Wilton Family Honored for Philanthropy
The Wilton family will be named Outstanding Philanthropist for 2019, at the National Philanthropy Day Awards Conference.

AFP: The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Fairfield County and Connecticut Chapters are honored to recognize the Tauck Family of Wilton as their Outstanding Philanthropist for 2019, at the National Philanthropy Day Annual Awards and Conference. This award recognizes an individual or family with a proven record of exceptional generosity who, through direct financial support demonstrates outstanding civic and charitable responsibility and whose generosity encourages others to take philanthropic leadership roles on a community, national or international level.
The Tauck Family Foundation is a private, multi-generational family foundation that invests long-term in organizations and initiatives that equip the children of Bridgeport, Connecticut with the necessary social and emotional skills to thrive academically and in life.
Their support has been provided not only in the form of generous funding, but also targeted capacity building, collaborative partnerships, and knowledge building and sharing. The Foundation partners deeply, transparently, and with humility and an equity-mindset to support investees in achieving their organizational and stakeholder outcomes.
Current investees include Bridgeport Early Childhood SEL Initiative, Bridgeport Public Schools SEL Initiative, Catholic Academy of Bridgeport, Horizons Bridgeport, and New Beginnings Family Academy Together, our investees have the potential to reach more than 26,000 Bridgeport children.
Help us recognize the Tauck Family and other leaders on November 8, 2019 at the Trumbull Marriott and Conference Center at an inspiring awards breakfast. Immediately following are educational programs which focus on board leadership and governance, fundraising best practices, marketing and communication, and organizational challenges. The conference is open to the public and professional fundraisers, consultants, board members, volunteers, and other nonprofit leaders can benefit from the educational sessions offered.
Advanced registration is required. Ticket prices vary and include options such as Student ($125); AFP Members ($175); and Non-AFP Members ($225). Tickets for the Awards Breakfast Only ($50) are also available. Donations are welcome.
