Wilton Man Accused of Stealing More Than $6,500 From Landlord

A Wilton man is accused of stealing more than $6,500 from his former landlord, a Fairfield resident, according to the Fairfield Citizen.

The Citizen reports Fairfield police recently arrest William G. Davenport, 42, of Danbury Road, on a warrant following an investigation.

The landlord notified police after he discovered someone had withdrawn money from his account using fraudulent and forged checks, according to the Citizen.
