Wilton Man Extricated From Vehicle After Serious Crash

Danbury emergency responders had to extricate the four victims from the car and transport them to Danbury Hospital.

In the early hours of Friday, Oct. 10, at approximately 1:16 a.m., the Danbury Police Department received a report of a serious motor vehicle accident around the area of 74 Aunt Hack Rd. in Danbury.

Police said Eugene Orsher of Wilton was driving a 2014 Volkswagen northbound on Aunt Hack Rd. His vehicle left the roadway and struck a stone wall and a large tree.

Danbury Firefighters had to extract Orsher, 22, from the vehicle. He was transported by ambulance to Danbury Hospital for injuries sustained in the crash. His passengers, Andrew Gillies, 25, of Ridgefield, Anthony Kipikasha, 40, of North Salem NY., and Jason Matts, 40, of Patterson, NY, were also transported by ambulance to Danbury Hospital for injuries sustained in the collision.
