Wilton Man Facing DUI Charge After Failing to Obey Stop Sign
The man was released on a promise to appear in court.
A Wilton man is facing a DUI charge after police say he failed to obey a stop sign.
According to police, on Aug. 10, a vehicle was stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of Belden Hill Road and Wolfpit Road for not stopping. The driver, Colin Macquarrie, 23 was found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, police said.
He was charged with driving under the influence and failure to obey a stop sign. Macquarrie was released on a promise to appear in court on Aug. 20.
