Wilton Police Officers Honored by AAA
The American Auto Association (AAA) Honored Wilton Police for Traffic Safety Achievements.

AAA Southern New England – CT recently honored the Wilton Police Department with a Silver Award for the department’s outstanding traffic safety programs that include an active child passenger safety, drunk driving distracted driving, and speed enforcement programs, among other initiatives. In addition, AAA honored Officer Anthony Cocco for his community traffic safety efforts. In 2013, he targeted violators that place motorists in jeopardy such as distracted driving, seatbelt misuse and driving unregistered or uninsured vehicles. He also was consistent in his approach in educating the community through traffic law enforcement..
