Wilton Teen Hosted Underage Party While Parents Were Away: Cops

As many as 16 guests were in attendance at the party.

A Wilton man was issued a misdemeanor summons after police say he hosted an underage drinking party.

Police responded to the area of Signal Hill Road for a loud music complaint on July 15 around 11:45 p.m. Police located a 19-year-old resident who was allegedly having a party with 16 guests while his parents were away.

Everyone in attendance who was drinking alcohol was underage, police said.

Alcohol at the party was seized as evidence and the resident was issued a misdemeanor summons requiring him to appear on court on July 24.

The resident was charged with possession of alcohol by minor and permitting minors to possess alcohol.
