Wilton's Woodcock Nature Center Celebrates National Trails Day

WILTON, CT -- The Woodcock Nature Center in Wilton is celebrating Connecticut Trails Day on Saturday, June 2, with a group hike.

Connecticut Trails Day is part of National Trails Day®, a nationwide hiking initiative established by the American Hiking Society in 1993. Trails Day encourages the public and outdoor enthusiasts nationwide to seek out their favorite trails while participating in numerous events held in each state. The Woodcock Nature Center group will gather at the main building and head out together for a group hike through the 149-acre nature preserve at 10:00 a.m. The trek i expected take about an hour. Registration is free, but requested.
