RE/MAX Edge Holds Grand Opening for First Connecticut Micro Real Estate Office Located Inside Stop & Shop

Innovative Partnership Provides Customers with One Stop Shopping Experience

South Windsor, CT – March 12, 2012 – RE/MAX Edge, located at 1739 Ellington Road, is pleased to announce the grand opening of their new micro real estate office located inside a Stop & Shop Supermarket. The office marks the first RE/MAX micro real estate office in the state. The initiative is part of a groundbreaking agreement between RE/MAX of New England and The Stop & Shop Company LLC of Quincy, MA, New England’s leading grocer.

“As one of the most recognized real estate brands in the world, RE/MAX continues to search for new and innovative opportunities to provide customers with a convenient shopping experience that fits into their busy lives,” said Jay Hummer, RE/MAX of New England’s Executive Vice President and Regional Director. “The opening of this micro real estate office inside a Stop & Shop store meets our goal of bringing cutting edge innovation to the real estate experience and we look forward to opening more micro real estate offices in the future.”

During the grand opening celebration, guests were invited to meet the on-site RE/MAX Edge team and tour the newly designed space. The office is operated by Broker/Owner Cheryl Kebalo of RE/MAX Edge, who also is a co-owner of RE/MAX Edge, previously RE/MAX 2000, in Marlborough, CT.

“We are excited to serve RE/MAX clients and Stop & Shop customers with a truly unique shopping experience that is not offered anywhere else,” said Cheryl Kebalo. “Because we are located inside Stop & Shop, we can easily bring the expertise and knowledge of highly skilled RE/MAX Associates  directly to people at a time and location that is convenient to their hectic schedules.”

The office measures 12’x23’ in size, for a total of 276 square feet. The design provides RE/MAX Associates with both a fully-functioning work area and an intimate setting to meet with potential and current clientele.  The exterior of the office features RE/MAX’s trademark red, white and blue colors, as well the iconic RE/MAX balloon.
