Area Track and Field Athletes Succeed at State Open

Wethersfield boys, Bloomfield girls win team championships; Windsor places second in each division.

NEW BRITAIN, CT - Teams from northern and central Connecticut fared quite well at the State Open track and field championships Monday at Willow Brook Park.

Wethersfield won the boys' team championship with 61 points to 49 for runnerup Windsor. On the girls' side, Bloomfield compiled 72 points to outdistance Windsor's 56.
