WINDSOR, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Coastal Carolina University, Conway SC

• Nearly 750 students have been named to the President's List at Coastal Carolina University for the spring 2018 semester. Students named to the President's List acheived a perfect 4.0 grade point average during the semester. Among those students named to the President's List were Tyler Lacafta, a Recreation and Sport Management major from Windsor, and Benjamin Sargalski, a Marine Science major from Windsor.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Eastern Connecticut State University recently released its spring 2018 semester Dean's List for full-time students. Honorees from Windsor and their majors are: Donna Nguyen, Computer Science and Business Information Systems; Melissa Carvalho, Pre-Elementary Education and Liberal Studies; Taylor Brown, Biology; London Jones, Visual Arts; Jennelle Joseph, Psychology; Tristan Kijak, Biology; Ayanna McDougald, Health Sciences; Aziel Rivera, Visual Arts; Marissa Rosner, Health Sciences; and Justin Smith, Finance. In order to be named to the Dean's List, Eastern students must achieve a GPA of 3.5 or higher for the semester.

Wesleyan University, Middletown CT

• Jaylen Berry of Windsor earned a BA degree in English from Wesleyan University at the Commencement ceremony on May 26.
