Body Found In Bloomfield Wetlands

State police are attempting to identify the human remains unearthed in the Bloomfield wetlands.

BLOOMFIELD , CT — Police in are investigating a possible homicide in Bloomfield where human remains had been buried in a field.

State police’s major crimes crime scene unit descended on the scene Thursday after receiving reports that a body had been buried in a 287-acre wetland site at 182 Woodland Avenue Thursday, NBC Connecticut reported.

With the help of Connecticut State Police cadaver dogs, detectives were able to find the remains and are now working to identify the person
