Why Poetry? A Poetry Workshop

Why Poetry? Why not?! Poetry offers a creative opportunity for people of all ages to relate and understand each other. An opportunity to recognize what we have in common and to celebrate what is different. Poetry invites personal discovery and at the same time, builds a stage for public presentation. A poetic awareness opens the window wide to possibility.

In this interactive ‘pencils down’ poetry writing workshop, East Hartford’s Inaugural Poet Laureate, Elizabeth Thomas, will provide ideas to get your creativity and your pencils moving. All writing levels are welcome! No registration required.
