• Eastern Connecticut State University recently released the names of full-time students who were named to the Dean's List for the fall 2016 semester. Ithaca College, Ithaca NY

• Kathryn Beaule of Windsor was honored with Ithaca College's Peggy R. Williams Award for Academic and Community Leadership, an award recognizing students who excel academically, perform service to the college community and nation, and represent an exemplary level of accomplishment.

Springfield College, Springfield MA

• Local students named to the dean's list for the fall 2016 semester are Alexander Camire, Mikaela Lombard-Poirot, Eliana Medina-James, Catherine Morillo, Kayla Sanborn and Jacqueline Wheelock.

Tunxis Community College, Farmington CT

• Jason Miller of Windsor was named to the dean's list for the fall 2016 semester.

University of Scranton, Scranton PA

• Rachel Poirier of Windsor is among the more than 1,500 students named to The University of Scranton's Dean's List for the 2016 fall semester. The Dean's List recognizes students for academic excellence. A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours during the fall semester to make the Dean's List. Poirier is a junior psychology major in the University's College of Arts and Sciences.

University of St. Joseph, West Hartford CT
