WINDSOR, CT — Here are some recent notable achievements for college students from Windsor, as reported by readMedia Newswire.
Becker College, Worcester MA
- A pair of Windsor students were named to the Becker College Dean's List for the fall 2016 semester. The dean's list recognizes all full-time students (24 or more credit hours earned for the academic year; 12 minimum each semester - September through May) whose term grade point average is 3.50 or higher with no grade below a B- and no incomplete (I) or withdrawal/failing (WF) grades. Windsor honorees are Ashley Thorpe, who is pursing a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, and Shayla Gawlak, who is pursing a Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary Science.
Marist College, Poughkeepsie NY

- Megan Canoni of Windsor has been named to the Marist College Dean's List for the fall 2016 semester. She is a member of the Class of 2019 and is majoring in Business Administration.
Seton Hall University, South Orange NJ
- Sarah Pranaitis of Windsor has qualified for the fall 2016 Dean's List. To make Dean's List, students must have at least a 3.4 GPA and can get no grade lower than a C.
SUNY Geneseo, Geneseo NY

- Nicole Gartley from Windsor has been named to SUNY Geneseo's Dean's List for the fall semester 2016. To be on the list, a student must have achieved at least a 3.5 grade point average while taking a minimum of 12 credit hours.
Western New England University, Springfield MA
- Western New England University congratulates 729 students, including two from Windsor, named to the fall 2016-2017 Dean's List. Students are named to Dean's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.30 or higher. Honorees from Windsor are Brianna Pennant, majoring in Social Work, and Emily Welch, majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
