Campus Notes - Windsor College Students

WINDSOR, CT — College classes resumed about two weeks ago, but Patch is still receiving notifications of accomplishments by local students from the summer and even this past spring from readMedia Newswire.

American International College, Springfield MA

• Shaina Blamahsah, of Windsor, received the Outstanding Performance and Overall Participation in the Field of Criminal Justice Award, presented to the student who has demonstrated a high level of commitment to the subject area. Blamahsah is a criminal justice major who was recognized at American International College's Academic Awards ceremony this spring.
• Lucilla Acosta, of Windsor, received the Spirit of Nursing Award during the American International College Academic Awards ceremony this spring. The Spirit of Nursing Award is presented to the student who best displays dedication and spirit for nursing. Acosta is a nursing major.

Monroe College, Bronx NY

• Monroe College, a national leader in educating urban and international students, is pleased to announce that Allexus Jack of Windsor was among more than 2,800 students participating in the College's 84th Annual Commencement this past June in the Theater at Madison Square Garden.
  Jack earned an Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration.
