American International College, Springfield MA
- Devonte Dillion, of Windsor, was inducted into the American International College (AIC) Athletic Director's 3.0 Club. The AIC Athletic Director's 3.0 Club Induction is an annual ceremony, held at the beginning of fall semester, that recognizes those student-athletes who achieve a 3.0 cumulative GPA or better after attending AIC for one year or more.
Bob Jones University, Greenville SC

- Julie Estelle of Windsor has been named to Bob Jones University's University Singers, BJU's largest choral organization. Estelle is a freshman majoring in International Studies. All students at BJU are welcome to audition and are placed in a choral group according to their classification and abilities. Singers are re-auditioned periodically to determine proper placement.
Youngstown State University, Youngstown OH
- Samuel Witham of Windsor is one of more than 1,200 Youngstown State University students awarded first-year Scholarships of Excellence this fall. A Windsor High School graduate who is studying Anthropology at YSU, Witham was awarded a President's Scholarship. The Scholarships for Excellence award totals are: $1,000 First Opportunity; $2,000 Red and White; $3,000 Dean's; $4,000 President's; $5,000 Trustees'; $4,000 to $6,000 Provost; $1,000 Martin Luther King; $1,000 to $3,000 Honors Program; and $2,000 Trailblazer. He also was one of more than 400 freshmen awarded Honors, Provost and Housing scholarships to start the fall semester. He was awarded the Provost Scholarship, Honors Program Scholarship and Honors Housing Scholarship. Honors Scholarships and Honors Housing Scholarships both range from $2,000 to $3,000, and recipients become part of YSU's prestigious University Honors College. Provost Scholarships range from $4,000 to $6,000 and recognize high-achieving out-of-state students.
