Campus Notes - Windsor College Students

WINDSOR, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Bob Jones University, Greenville SC

• Erin Estelle, a junior Accounting major of Windsor, was among approximately 520 Bob Jones University students named to the spring 2018 President's List. The President's List recognizes those students who earn a 3.75 or higher grade point average for the semester.

Coastal Carolina University, Conway SC

• Approximately 1,183 students were eligible to walk in Coastal Carolina University's graduation exercises, held on campus at the HTC Student Recreation Center and Convocation Center in three separate ceremonies May 4-5. Among those students who graduated was Tyler Lacafta from Windsor, earning a Bachelor of Science in recreation and sport management.

Lasell College, Newton MA

• Lasell College is pleased to announce that Vanessa Rose of Windsor has been selected to serve as an Orientation Leader this upcoming summer at Lasell College. Vanessa will serve as a group leader, point of contact for various departments, registration assistant, peer educator, and positive role model for incoming Lasell students. All Orientation Leaders participate in an extensive training program throughout the spring semester, which continues the week prior to the summer and fall Orientation program. They are trained in and expected to be knowledgeable about institutional information, group dynamics, and student development issues.
