- Colgate University Class of 2020 member John Pham, from Windsor, has earned the fall Dean's Award for Academic Excellence. The Dean's Award at Colgate is awarded to students with a 3.3 or higher term average.

- Jada Horn of Windsor, a student at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Metropolitan Campus in Teaneck, NJ has been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2016 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, a student must carry a 3.2 or better grade point average out of a possible 4.0 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours (four courses).
Ithaca College, Ithaca NY
- Ithaca College student Thomas Mcauliffe of Windsor will spend the 2017 Spring Break volunteering for a good cause. Mcauliffe will support the Virginia Department of Parks and Recreation in conducting routine maintenance, trail building and restoration, beautification projects and a variety of other tasks in Kiptopeke State Park, Virginia. The annual Alternative Spring Break program sends small teams of students to work with organizations that espouse a number of missions.
