• Tunxis Community College in Farmington has announced Hania Kabatilo of Windsor has qualified for the Dean’s List for the fall 2017 semester. Students matriculated in a certificate or degree program who have earned a semester grade point average of 3.4 or higher and have successfully completed 12 or more credits, or have earned 12 credits cumulatively over multiple semesters, are eligible for this academic honor.

University of New Hampshire, Durham NH

• Taryn Duncan of Windsor has been named to the Dean's List at the University of New Hampshire for earning honors for the fall 2017 semester. Duncan is majoring in Women's Studies. Students named to the Dean's List at the University of New Hampshire are students who have earned recognition through their superior scholastic performance during a semester enrolled in a full-time course load (12 or more graded credits). Highest honors are awarded to students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.85 or better out of a possible 4.0. Students with a 3.65 to 3.84 average are awarded high honors and students whose grade point average is 3.5 through 3.64 are awarded honors.

University of Scranton, Scranton PA

• Rachel Poirier of Windsor was among more than 1,600 students named to The University of Scranton's Dean's List for the 2017 fall semester. The Dean's List recognizes students for academic excellence. A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours during the semester to make the Dean's List. Poirier is a senior psychology major in the University's College of Arts and Sciences.

Western Connecticut State University, Danbury CT

• Alaina Mueller of Windsor named to the Dean's List at Western Connecticut State University for the fall 2017 semester.
