On Campus - Windsor College Students

WINDSOR, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Bob Jones University, Greenville SC

• Several students at Bob Jones University, including two from Windsor. were recently recognized as legacy students by the BJU Alumni Association. Each year the BJU Alumni Association is pleased to recognize second, third, and fourth generation legacy students. In order to be eligible, students must have at least one parent who graduated from BJU. Windsor honorees are Erin Estelle, a junior majoring in Accounting, and Julie Estelle, a freshman majoring in International Studies.

Loyola University Maryland, Baltimore MD

• Mia Scanlon, a member of the class of 2018 from Windsor, has been named to the fall 2017 Dean's List at Loyola University Maryland. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.

University of Scranton, Scranton PA

• Rachel Poirier of Windsor was among the 23 University of Scranton students who studied abroad during the fall 2017 semester. Poirier, a psychology major at Scranton, studied in Spain and Rome.
