Fourth Annual Caribbean Mass

The 4th annual Caribbean Mass, One Heart ~ Two Homes, will be held at St. Justin Church, 230 Blue Hills Avenue in Hartford on Sunday, June 26, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a parish picnic featuring Caribbean food, music and fun activities for children.

This special Mass will include traditional Caribbean-African Liturgy, worship hymns, liturgical dancers, steel pan drums, congas and tambourines.

The Most Rev. Henry J. Mansell, Archbishop of Hartford, will be the Principal Celebrant and visiting pastor, Rev. Frank A. Black, of St. Laurence Church in Brooklyn, NY, will be the guest homilist.

The Mass is being sponsored by the Caribbean Catholics of North America (CCNA), Hartford Chapter, which consists of members from various parishes across the Archdiocese, including the Cathedral of St. Joseph, St. Gertrude in Windsor, Sacred Heart in Bloomfield and St. Michael in Hartford.
