Ex-Con Can't Cope With Life On The Outside, Commits Robbery
A Windsor man who served 10 years for previous robberies will serve 12 more years in prison, according to a report.

WINDSOR, CT - A local man facing armed robbery charges will serve 12 years in prison connected to an incident two years ago. The Hartford Courant reported that Thomas Phillips, 51, was charged with first-degree robbery charges on accusations that he used a knife to rob an East Granby convenience store.
Phillips was initially charged with first-degree robbery, second-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree criminal mischief and sixth-degree larceny.
His daughter, Alisha Phillips, 24, of East Windsor, was also charged with criminal attempt to commit first-degree robbery and interfering with an officer. She allegedly drove the car from the scene of the robbery.

Phillips told prosecutors he was having a difficult time adjusting to life outside prison, according to the Courant.
