Jeffrey LaPorto, 43, of Windsor, was arrested last June for allegedly sexually assaulting the woman at a Windsor Locks motel.

Former state trooper Jeffrey LaPorto, 44, of Windsor, was sentenced to two years in jail and 10 years of probation for sexually assaulting an 81-year-old woman at a Windsor Locks motel last June.
LaPorto, who pleaded no contest to one count of first-degree sexual assault in April, must also register as a sex offender for the rest of his life, according to the Hartford Courant.
LaPorto spent several hours talking and drinking with the woman at the Quality Inn bar on June 6, 2014 and they went back to her room where the alleged sexual assault occurred. LaPorto claimed that any sexual contact between the two was consensual.
