Getting It Done In The Classroom: College Students From Windsor

WINDSOR, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire. More great feats will be noted in the coming weeks.

Buffalo State University, Buffalo NY

• Jada Francis of Windsor has been named to the fall 2022 Dean's List at Buffalo State University. Francis is majoring in psychology. In general, students who have completed at least 12 credit hours and who have attained a term GPA of 3.5 or higher qualify for the Buffalo State dean's list.

Castleton University, Castleton VT

• Michael Kyc and Makayla Nash, both of Windsor, were named to the Castleton University Dean's List for the fall semester of the 2022-23 academic year. To qualify for this academic honor, the student must maintain full-time status and a semester grade point average of 3.5.

Southern New Hampshire University, Manchester NH

• Elizabeth Nargi and James Ersando, both of Windsor, were named to the fall 2022 Dean's List. Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.500 to 3.699 for the reporting term are named to the Dean's List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.

University of Saint Joseph, West Hartford CT

• Oluwatayo Edwards of Windsor graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Saint Joseph during the December 2022 commencement exercises. This ceremony honored the graduates of the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner master's degree and certificate programs, and the Family Nurse Practitioner master's degree program.

Western Connecticut State University, Danbury CT

• Shania Mirza, a biology major from Windsor, was named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2022 semester.
