Integrity Graphics Announces Acquisition of Excelsior Printing Divisions

Windsor, Conn. — Integrity Graphics, a full service print and design company, with headquarters in Windsor, Conn., continues to expand its market share with the acquisition of Excelsior Printing, located in North Adams, Mass. This transaction is the latest in a series of acquisitions for the company, which include Colonial Printing in Warwick, RI in 2011 and PDQ Graphics, in Newport, RI in 2012.

Although former owner David Crane will continue to own and operate Excelsior Integrated, the brands Excelsior Printing and SeedPrint are now owned and operated by Integrity Graphics. Estimating, pre-press, proofing and list management services will remain in North Adams along with the local sales team.

“The Excelsior Printing and SeedPrint divisions enhance Integrity Graphics’ strong presence in the Northeast and allow us to offer new services to our new Massachusetts clients such as perfect binding and UV printing,” said Joseph E. With headquarters in Windsor, Conn., Integrity Graphics was founded in 1988 by Victor A. La Valla, Joseph E. La Valla and John C. Lorusso, as a conventional pre-press company. Today, the company boasts a full array of digital and offset print capabilities including finishing and binding services and employs 115 people.

“Looking ahead we plan to grow our presence in North Adams and continue to make strategic acquisitions throughout the Northeast that benefit our whole company and our clients,” La Valla said.

New Direction Partners, an investment banking advisor specializing in mergers, acquisitions and valuations in the printing and packaging industry, assisted in the transaction.
