Male Caregivers from Windsor Greet Schoolchildren [VIDEO]

Men from all across town were on hand to welcome students to each of Windsor's schools Tuesday morning.

WINDSOR, CT — Men of all ages gathered at the front doors of Windsor's schools Tuesday to enthusiastically greet students arriving for the day.

The gatherings, arranged by the Windsor Public Schools' Office of Family Engagement and Community Partnership, encouraged fathers, father figures, grandfathers, uncles and significant male caregivers to welcome students and uplift the community, while inspiring academic achievement and excellence.

Dozens of men from the community were on hand at Windsor High School, Sage Park Middle School and the town's four elementary schools.
