WINDSOR, CT — College students from Windsor recently achieved these accomplishments, as reported by readMedia Newswire.

Assumption College, Worcester MA

• Assumption College has announced that 535 students have been named to the College's prestigious undergraduate Dean's List for the spring 2017 semester, including Cameron Young, Class of 2019, from Windsor. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Assumption students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 for a five-class, 15-credit semester. The Dean's List is announced twice per academic year, once at the completion of the fall semester, and again at the completion of the spring semester.

Castleton University, Castleton VT

• Alexander Sedergren of Windsor graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Castleton University following the successful completion of the spring semester in May 2017. The second graduating class of Castleton University passed across the stage at its 230th Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 13, bringing to close the 2016-17 academic year.

University of Rhode Island, Kingston RI

• The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that more than 5,290 undergraduates have qualified for the spring 2017 Dean's List. The students represent nearly all of Rhode Island's cities and towns, all six New England states, New York and New Jersey, many other states and countries. Windsor students named to the Dean's List were DeAngelo Marquette Berry and Alexander Domadanog Gray. To be included on the Dean's List, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 or more credits for letter grades earning at least a 3.30 quality point average.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

• Rauchell Beckford graduated from Western New England University with a Juris Doctor. The graduate ceremony was held on Sunday, May 21, with nearly 400 students receiving masters, law, and doctorate degrees from its Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business, Engineering, Pharmacy, and School of Law.
