Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

  • Eastern Connecticut State University recently released the names of 11 full-time students from
    Windsor who were named to the Dean's List for the fall 2017 semester. They are, with majors: Ashley Acosta, Social Work; Taylor Brown, Biology; Melissa Carvalho, Pre-Elementary Education and Liberal Studies; Candice Johnson, Labor Relations/Human Resource Management; London Jones, Visual Arts; Jennelle Joseph, Psychology; Tristan Kijak, Biology; Ayanna McDougald, Health Sciences; Donna Nguyen, Computer Science and Business Information Systems; Elizabeth Riordan, Communication and Elementary Education; and Aziel Rivera, Visual Arts.

Emerson College, Boston MA

  • Benjamin Mueller, a resident of Windsor, has been named to the Emerson College Dean's List for the fall 2017 semester. Mueller is majoring in Media Arts Production. The requirement to make Emerson's Dean's List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher.

University of Memphis, Memphis TN

  • Keniece Victoria Walker of Windsor earned a B S in Education degree in Sport and Leisure Management from the University of Memphis during Dec. 17 commencement ceremonies.

  • Jessica Smith of Windsor was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2017 semester.

University of Rhode Island, Kingston RI

  • The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that 5,500 undergraduates have qualified for the fall 2017 Dean's List. The students represent nearly all of Rhode Island's cities and towns, all six New England states, New York and New Jersey, and many other states and nations. To be included on the Dean's List, students must have completed 12 or more credits during a semester for letter grades with at least a 3.30 quality point average. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 credits with a 3.30 quality point average. The list includes students who have not yet declared their majors as well as those from all of the University's undergraduate academic colleges. Honorees from Windsor are Alexander Gray and Robert Peterson.

Youngstown State University, Youngstown OH

  • Samuel Witham of Windsor is among top students named to the President's List and Dean's List at Youngstown State University for fall semester 2017. Witham is studying Anthropology at YSU. The President's List includes full-time undergraduate students who have earned a 4.0 average for not less than 12 semester hours of credit in the semester just ended. Dean's List recognition is awarded to full-time undergraduate students who have earned at least a 3.4 average for not less than 12 semester hours of credit in the semester.
