College of Saint Rose, Albany NY

• Congratulations to Molly Shannon, of Windsor, for earning a spot on the Dean's List for the spring 2022 semester at The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York. Shannon is majoring in communications at Saint Rose. Full-time undergraduate students, who complete a minimum of 12 graded credit hours and who achieve a semester average of 3.5 without a D, F, or Incomplete are eligible for the Dean's List.

Curry College, Milton MA

• On Sunday, May 22, Curry College honored 661 graduates from the Class of 2022 in its 142nd commencement celebration. The ceremony was held at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Mass., with family members, friends, alumni, faculty, and staff, among other Curry community members in attendance. Among the graduates was Samrin LaPrise of Windsor, who was also named to the spring 2022 Dean's List.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• More than 300 Eastern Connecticut State University students were recognized for scholarly excellence at the conclusion of the spring 2022 semester. Given by academic departments across the university, the recognitions included induction into 15 academic honor societies, scholarship awards and departmental distinctions. Among those honored were a pair of Windsor residents. Victoria Daye, a sophomore who majors in health sciences, received a teaching assistant certificate of appreciation for the spring 2022 semester at the sixth annual Health Sciences Awards Ceremony on April 21 in the Science Building. Xavier Jackson Ward, a junior who majors in environmental earth science, was inducted into Eastern's Theta Upsilon chapter of the Sigma Gamma Epsilon national honor society for earth sciences at the Department of Environmental Earth Science's annual awards event on April 28 in the Science Building.

Lasell University, Newton MA

• Sabrina Crispim is a member of the Lasell University Class of 2022. Undergraduate degree recipients were honored at an on-campus ceremony on Saturday, May 14. Crispim, a resident of Windsor, graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice. She also was named to the Dean's List for her academic performance in the spring 2022 semester. To be named to the Dean's List, Lasell students must complete at least 12 credits as a full-time student and achieve a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Ohio Wesleyan University, Delaware OH

• Ethan Douglas of Windsor graduated this spring from Ohio Wesleyan University. Douglas earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and was a business (marketing concentration) major. Ohio Wesleyan held its 178th commencement ceremony on May 7.

University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa AL

• Chandler Davis of Windsor received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Alabama. UA awarded 5,907 degrees during its spring commencement ceremonies on May 6-8, 2022.

University of Saint Joseph, West Hartford CT

• University of Saint Joseph (USJ) undergraduate students earned their way to the Dean's List for the spring 2022 semester. Students were awarded this academic achievement for having earned a GPA of 3.50 or higher for the semester, with no grade lower than a "B."
