More Milestones Achieved By Windsor College Students: Spring 2023

WINDSOR, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire. More great feats will be noted in the coming weeks.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Eastern Connecticut State University recently released its Dean's List for the spring 2023 semester, in which nearly 1,300 students were recognized for maintaining high GPAs. Honorees from Windsor and their majors are Andrew Goldberg, women's and gender studies and art; Annika Christopherson, sociology; Frank Corbett, English; Victoria Daye, health sciences; Alec Lachniet, health sciences; Yetsael Medina-Ayala, computer science; Kevana Simpson, communication; and Aleyshka Zayas Caez, social work. To qualify for Dean's List, full-time students must complete a minimum of 12 credits in letter-graded courses with an average GPA of 3.5 or higher in the semester.

University of Rhode Island, Kingston RI

• The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce the spring 2023 Dean's List, including Windsor residents Cailynn Danneman and Hope McCann. To be included on the Dean's List, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades which are GPA applicable during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

• Western New England University recently named over 570 students to the spring semester 2023 Dean's List, including two from Windsor. Michael Burke is majoring in political science, and Carli Simons is majoring in mechanical engineering.
