1 Dead, 7 Injured In Windsor Crash Near I-91

WINDSOR, CT — One person is dead and seven others were taken to local hospitals after a three-car crash Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Windsor Avenue and Route 218, police said.

Windsor police said officers responded to the crash at about 2:32 p.m. March 25. When officers, firefighters, and ambulance crews arrived, they found three vehicles involved.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The victim’s identity was not immediately released pending notification of relatives.

Seven other people involved in the crash were transported to local hospitals for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information was released Wednesday.
