Northend Hartford Housing Projects Moving Into Windsor

Is anyone paying attention to what our small town is being converted into an expansion of the Northend of Hartford?

Poor picture quality snapshot taken from the tv but there is no way to make projects like this look nice, lipstick on a pig would look more realistic & pretty

If it was a series of 2 & 3 family houses like some of the pretty multifamily homes victorian style with porches in Hartford maybe it might be a welcome addition to our town where owner occupied homes could give families the chance to have In-Laws on one level & the young family on another & the 3rd level for renting to get an income

But these are just flat out ugly & only one benefits with the 60% tax breaks being given to the new builders & again Renters health is of no concern it's being built on another piece of property that has contamination

These are just outright Stack & Pack PROJECTS of the style which are known to be rife with crime & even Hartford has torn down some of theirs (Terry Square projects off of N Main?) to go instead with smaller quad style ones??

High Density Mixed Use Housing, did you buy your home here in Windsor because you wanted a nice place to live or to be an extension of Hartford, well falling home valuations have put many people upside down in their mortgages so the mortgage is more than the property is worth & these Projects is one of the reasons why?

Will we have to start paying our taxes over to these people like we are having to pay our taxes over to the Great Pond people too?

How much will we start sending over to ICLEI now?
The fees go up over the years as they progress & force us into their plans for our town - in a TPZ meeting it was admitted last year that we are members;
but why should any foreign company or corporation be able to tell us how to run our town here in the USA? 
For those who were unaware someone over at our town hall thought that having a foreign company dictate terms for how our town should grown was a good thing & signed our town into ICLEI which is a group over in Bonn Germany that we pay dues to yearly so that they can dictate how our town will grow
Unfortunately such a decision was not brought up before the taxpaying public to have informed consent about what they were getting our town & tax dollars assigned into
