Cedarville University, Cedarville OH

  • Kaitlyn Kijak from Windsor, majoring in mechanical engineering, was named to the spring 2023 Dean's Honor List at Cedarville University. This recognition requires the student to obtain a 3.75 GPA or higher for the semester and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours.

  • Liza Kearney, a management major at Grove City College from Windsor, has been named to the Dean's List with High Distinction for the spring 2023 semester. Liza is a 2020 graduate of Cornerstone Christian School and is the daughter of Thomas and Catherine Kearney. Students eligible for the Dean's List have a GPA of 3.40 to 3.59; for the Dean's List with Distinction a GPA of 3.60 to 3.84 and for the Dean's List with High Distinction a GPA of 3.85 to 4.0.

University of Scranton, Scranton PA

  • Max R. Messenger of Windsor was among the more than 850 members of the University of Scranton's class of 2023 who were awarded bachelor's and associate's degrees at its undergraduate commencement ceremony on May 21 at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza, Wilkes-Barre. Degrees were conferred to graduates who had completed their academic degree requirements in August and December of 2022, as well as January and May of 2023. Messenger earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology.

  • LaTaya Meade of Windsor received a Master of Science in nursing degree from Wilkes University. The degree was one of over 650 bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees at its 76th spring commencement ceremonies on May 20 in the McHale Athletic Center in the Simms Center on Main.
