Order Wreaths for Windsor's 12/16 Wreaths Across America Ceremony
The public can purchase wreaths by Dec. 2 - to be placed at a Dec. 16 "Wreaths Across America" ceremony in the Windsor Veterans Cemetery,

Carmon Community Funeral Homes, Windsor’s American Legion Post #59, and Windsor resident Lucy Goicoechea-Hernández, a founder of the Hispanic-American Veterans of Connecticut, Inc. (HAVOCT), will host a Wreaths Across America wreath-laying ceremony on Saturday, December 16th at 12:00 pm at the Windsor Veterans Memorial Cemetery on East Street. All are invited to attend this special event to be held on the same day as similar wreath-laying ceremonies across the nation.
Anyone can purchase a $15 wreath to be placed during the ceremony, but all payments must be received by Saturday, December 2. Checks should be made out to: Carmon Community Funeral Homes and either brought to Carmon Funeral Home at 807 Bloomfield Avenue in Windsor or mailed to: Carmon Community Funeral Homes, Attn: Wreaths Across America, P.O. Box 6, Windsor CT 06095.
People who want a wreath placed for a specific veteran who is buried in the cemetery should indicate the veteran’s name when payment is submitted.

The ceremony in the Windsor Veterans Memorial Cemetery will feature a color guard and readings by members of local clergy and veterans, to be followed by the ceremonial laying of wreaths by local Boy Scout Troops 149 and 203.
