Police Make Arrest in Windsor Shooting Case
A man was shot at a Windsor shopping plaza and was later found at a pizza place in East Hartford.
Windsor Police have made an arrest in connection to the January shooting at the Windsor Shopping Center in which a man was found with a gunshot wound at an East Hartford pizza restaurant after he had been shot in Windsor.
The Hartford Courant reports Benjamin Saywahn, 19, of 61 Pheland St. in Springfield, Mass., was taken into custody at his home on Feb. 3 and is incarcerated in Massachusetts and awaits extradition to Connecticut to answer to the charges.
The victim had been shot Jan. 25 in the Windsor shopping plaza and then traveled to Village Pizza on Burnside Avenue in East Hartford.
