Sage Park TSA Wins Big at First Robotics Competition

Students competed against eight other schools in Connecticut and Massachusetts and 20 different robots

On January 13, 2018 the Sage Park Middle School Technology Student Association (TSA) competed in their first VEX-IQ Ringmaster competition. The students brought three robots for the competition 32868A-C. They competed against eight other schools in Connecticut and Massachusetts and 20 different robots.

In the final round, Sage Park took first place with 32868B (driven by Kenny McGraw and Luke Rice), second place with 32868A (driven by Mason Doshi and Grant Harris) and third place with 32868C (driven by Caleb Cantiana-Paquette and Lorenzo Little). Students also came in second place in the skills challenge with 32868B (programmed by Najia Elarabi, Selma Saeedosman, and Zainab Kane).
