Saturday, December 12 - "Windsor Wreaths Across America" Ceremony

December 12 Wreaths Across America Ceremony in Windsor Veterans Memorial Cemetery on East Street

The Hispanic-American Veterans of Connecticut, Inc. (HAVOCT), Windsor’s American Legion Post #59 and Carmon Community Funeral Homes of Windsor will host a ”Wreaths Across America” wreath-laying ceremony in the Windsor Veterans Memorial Cemetery on East Street on Saturday, December 12 at 12 noon.
All are invited to attend this special event.

Featured will be a Boy Scout color guard, readings by members of local clergy and veterans, military honors with gun salute and playing of Taps.

Immediately after the brief ceremony, wreaths will be placed by Carmon Community Funeral Homes family and staff and local groups on the graves of many veterans buried there.

The Windsor-based funeral home had invited the public to purchase wreaths to be placed at the event.
