School Bus from Windsor Involved in Accident

A motorist crossed the center line and struck the bus in Bloomfield.

BLOOMFIELD, CT — A Windsor School District bus was involved in an accident on a busy Bloomfield street Tuesday afternoon, NBC Connecticut reported.

A Honda Civic traveling northbound on Blue Hills Avenue crossed the center line and struck the bus, which was carrying 13 middle school students, around 1:22 p.m.

The 66-year-old woman driving the Honda was transported to a hospital with minor injuries. No one on the bus sustained any injuries, the station reported.
