Some More College Milestones Achieved By Windsor Students: Spring 2023

WINDSOR, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire. More great feats will be noted in the coming weeks.

Hamilton College, Clinton NY

• Jacqueline Cleary of Windsor received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hamilton College on Sunday, May 21, in a Commencement ceremony concluding the college's 211th year. A sociology major, Cleary graduated with departmental honors in sociology and completed a thesis titled "All you need is trust: How middle manager leadership practices impact the work environment of their employees."

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy NY

• Justin Rios and Dyami Watson, both of Windsor, have made the Dean's Honor List for the spring 2023 semester. Rios is studying mechanical engineering, while Watson is studying computer science. RPI's Dean's Honor List is compiled at the end of each semester to recognize undergraduate students who have completed 12 or more credit hours with a 3.5 grade point average or better for that term.

University of Saint Joseph, West Hartford CT

• Eight students from Windsor earned their way to the Dean's List for the spring 2023 semester. Students were awarded this academic achievement for having earned a GPA of 3.50 or higher for the semester, with no grade lower than a "B." Honorees from Windsor were Vashon Chislom, majoring in social work; Vanessa Cortez, majoring in nursing; Leazia Coston, majoring in special education; Nahriel Gelly, majoring in pre-nursing; Quincy Harris, majoring in health science; Brittany Pacheco, majoring in nursing; Jade Robinson, majoring in nursing; and Anthonia Tucker, majoring in nursing.
