State Tournament Play to Open for Windsor, Aerospace

WINDSOR, CT — Cross country is over, swimming brackets will be announced later this week and football still has three games to go, but four other sports begin their state tournaments over the next three days, with three involving teams from Windsor High School and the CREC Academy of Aerospace and Engineering.

Listed in order of better seeds, here is the upcoming tournament schedule for Windsor teams:

• girls volleyball (L): No. 24 Windsor at No. 9 E.O. Smith, Mon., 11/6, 6 p.m.
• boys soccer (L): No. 27 Windsor at No. 6 Watertown, Mon., 11/6, 2 p.m.
• girls soccer (L): No. 30 Windsor at No. 3 St. Joseph, Tues., 11/7, 2 p.m.

Here is the schedule for Aerospace squads:

• girls soccer (S): No. 19 Public Safety/Aerospace at No. 14 Litchfield, Tues., 11/7, 3 p.m.
• boys soccer (M): No. 20 Aerospace at No. 13 Bacon Academy, Mon. 11/6, 2 p.m.
