Successful Food Drive at Many Rivers Acupuncture

Many Rivers Community Acupuncture is pleased to announce the success of their Autumn Food Drive to support the Windsor Food Bank. During the third week of October, patients at Many Rivers collected 186 pounds of non-perishable food items to donate to the Food Bank.

This was Many Rivers’ sixth annual Food Drive. “We all look forward to hosting the Food Drive each year,” said Many Rivers’ founder, Carrie Sawtell, L.Ac. “The best part is when we do the weigh-in and see the final result. We were thrilled when we saw the total of 186 pounds.”

Community acupuncture means more than just providing affordable health care. “In our treatment room, everyone comes together to create a powerful healing space,” says Sawtell. “We can expand that healing beyond our walls by harnessing the power of our patient community. Everyone contributes a little bit, and the result is a landslide of donations.”
