Suspect Flees Crash, Leads Police On Chase
A New Britain man was arrested following a Friday night chase that ended in Windsor.

WINDSOR, CT - A New Britain man fled the scene of a crash and led police on an 8-mile chase that ended in Windsor, according to state police. Edward Martinez, 20, of New Britain, allegedly was involved in an accident in Suffield and fled the scene in a white BMW.
State police located the car exiting I-91 in Windsor and attempted to pull the vehicle over. Martinez then led police on a chase through roads in Windsor and eastbound Route 20, ending on northbound I-91.
He was charged with reckless driving, engaging police in a pursuit, failure to display number plates, unsafe movement from a stopped position and second-degree reckless endangerment.

He was held on $5000 bond.
