Treasured Violin Stolen In Windsor Burglary
A violin that dates back to the 19th century and has been passed down for generations was stolen in a burglary earlier this week.
WINDSOR, CT — A prized French violin from the 1800s was among the items burglars stole from a Windsor home recently, NBC Connecticut reported. Tim Lawrence said the violin is a family heirloom and hopes the public will be able to reunite him with the priceless possession.
Lawrence returned to his home Monday to find it burglarized. The burglars also stole cash, credit cards, and jewelry, according to NBC Connecticut.
The violin had been passed down from Lawrence's great grandfather, and he hopes to continue the tradition.
