Windsor Art Center Seeks Actors!

Auditions for The Mythology Project II -an original short play inspired by Norse Mythology, performed at The Windsor Art Center's gallery!

The Windsor Art Center seeks creative and collaborative actors to participate in the creation and performance of an original short play inspired by Norse Mythology.

Auditions will be held:
Sunday, June 26, 6-8PM (sign-in/orientation at 5:45PM)
Monday, June 27, 7-9PM (sign-in/orientation at 6:45PM)
Actors only need to attend one of the above sessions.

Auditions will consist of devising and improvisation activities. No need to prepare anything beforehand. Just come in willing to play!

Auditions will be held at the Windsor Art Center, 40 Mechanic St., Windsor, CT.

While walk-in auditions are welcome for both sessions, to help with planning, actors are encouraged to email director Amanda Pawlik, director.amandap@gmail.com, with desired audition session and headshot and resume (if available). Those who are interested in auditioning but cannot make one of the audition sessions (or who need to arrive to a session late) are also encouraged to email Amanda.

Callback Auditions (if needed) will be held Tuesday, June 28, at 7PM.

About the Project:
The inaugural Mythology Project premiered at the Windsor Art Center last summer and featured two original plays inspired by the Greek myths Persephone and the Underworld and Eros and Psyche. The Mythology Project II will follow in the first Project’s footsteps while exploring a new mythology -Norse Mythology - and continuing to create fun, innovative theatre, that engages the audience and expands the possibilities of theatre in non-traditional performance spaces like the Windsor Art Center’s gallery!

About Rehearsals and Performances:
Rehearsals: First rehearsal is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, July 12, at 7:30PM. Rehearsals will be held 2-3 times per week (weeknights and some weekend afternoons), increasing to 3-4 times per week closer to performances. Specific rehearsal days and times will adapt to cast availability.

Tech Week: Sunday, August 21 -Wednesday, August 24

Performances: Thursday-Saturday, August 25-27 at 8PM. Performance is expected to run 40-60 minutes.

All rehearsals, auditions, and performances will be held at the Windsor Art Center, 40 Mechanic St., Windsor, CT.
