Opening of The Art Educators Show at The Windsor Art Center - January 16, 2016
WINDSOR, CT - The Windsor Art Center will open The Art Educators Show: Inspiring The Next Generation of Artists, a group show consisting of six artists who have dedicated their lives to inspiring and shaping the next generation of creative minds on Saturday, January 16, 2016 . The collection of artwork includes paintings, photography, sculptures and mixed media pieces.
The Artists and schools represented are:
Gregory Bowerman – Williams School
William Butcher – Suffield Academy
Marsha Doran – Canterbury School
Jennifer McCandless – Loomis Chaffee
Carolyn Pelkey – Watkinson School
Marjorie Renno – Windsor High School
The exhibition opens with a reception on Saturday, January 16 from 5:00 7:00 pm and runs through February 27 at The Windsor Art Center, 40 Mechanic Street, Windsor, CT. A poignant panel discussion by the artists will be held on Saturday, February 13 from 2:00 3:00 pm. Gallery hours are: Thursday, 6:00 8:00 pm; Saturday, 10:00 am 4:00 pm and Sunday, 11:00 am 4:00 pm. The exhibition is supported by a grant from the New Alliance Foundation.
