Windsor Boys Capture First State Open Indoor Track Team Championship

NEW HAVEN, CT — For the first time in school history, the Windsor Warriors won a boys State Open team championship, edging Lyman Hall Saturday at the Floyd Little Athletic Center.

The Warriors compiled 45 points to beat out the 38.33 of the Trojans. Danbury came in third.

Two individual events were won by Windsor. In the 300 meter dash, Maxim Copeland beat out teammate Taeshawn Berry; later, those two combined with Caneil Goldson and Jordan Crain to win the 4 x 200 meter relay.
