Hartford, Conn. (October 10, 2014) – The Hartford Business Journal Thursday, Oct. 9, celebrated the outstanding achievements of the region’s most successful family-owned and operated firms, during its 2nd Annual Family Business Awards at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Bristol, Conn..
“The Family Business Awards recognize those who have successfully integrated tradition and sustainability in their family-owned venture,” said Joe Zwiebel, founding publisher of the Hartford Business Journal. “The winners are exemplary family-business models who have managed to stay true to their roots while elevating the communities they serve.”
The 2014 Family Business Awards winners were determined by a panel of judges from the following companies: AJ Johnson, Small Business Night Out; Eileen Candels, Kelly Services; and, Peter Gioia, Connecticut Business and Industry Association (CBIA).
