Windsor Couple Charged With Stealing Riding Mower in Farmington

They were captured several miles from the scene of the theft in Farmington, according to police.

FARMINGTON, CT — A Windsor couple was arrested early Tuesday morning after allegedly stealing a riding lawnmower from a Farmington business.

Anthony Tyson, 53, and Stephanie Jackson, 55, both of 38 Faneuil St., Windsor, were charged with third-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny, illegal possession of a shoplifting device, third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree criminal trespass. Tyson was additionally charged with operating under suspension, operating without minimum insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and improper use of marker.

Bond for each was set at $30,000.

A police report states the duo stole the mower from a business, and were captured several miles from the scene on Colt Highway.
