Windsor Election 2015 Results: Winners Declared in Municipal Election

Incumbent Democrat Donald Trinks was elected to an eighth term as mayor Tuesday night in the Windsor municipal election, according to the Hartford Courant.

The Courant reports that Democrat Cristina Santos was the top vote-getter for the board of education and will serve a second term as president.

The Democrats will hold a majority on both the council and the school board, according to the Courant.

Incumbent Republican John Gamache lost his seat on the town council and incumbent and Reublican Town Committee Chairman Ronald Eleveld was defeated in the board of education race.
